Hey!

Its hard to say to be honest. You’d think it’d happen and you can go “oh wow I got discovered! things are picking up” but in reality as most things it happens gradually so you don’t notice. 

I reckon the last five years were the most noticeable for me since I started my comic series and started posting non stop on Instagram. If I learnt anything is that consistency and persistence pay off but in a very slow and gradual way. 

Being stubborn and slightly self deluded certainly helps, as you keep on sharing your work into the void while getting better with your work. 

its similar to all that grinding you have to do in dungeon crawlers to level up: I posted for years on Deviantart while dreaming of people noticing my work at no avail. it always felt like posting to no one.

Be stubborn I say. worst could happen is you get really good at your craft ;)
