Bartkira VOL 2

For those of you who didn’t know, I’ve been lucky enough to be part of the amazing Bartkira project run by talented James Harvey.

I know this is not on the levels of the real akira with the crazy landscapes and full on cities but I’d like to think that it has my own touch and approach to it.

I still have to finish a few more pages and I’ll be posting them here for you too see when that happens. for now enjoy the first two as a double spread.

BITS OF CROM - Time waster 01

44 Pages of drawings, scribbles, concepts, developmental sketches and previously unpublished ideas and characters from my 2013 moleskin.

I’m really happy with how the books came out and I’m hoping to keep on publishing at least one of these every year.

I tried to keep costs as low as possible so as many people as possible could get it.

I will sketch on every book that is ordered through my online shop:

Here to spend your pennies on it!

I decided to make it available online to reach as many of you as possible with this story that has brought me so much fun and joy.

I will also be going to London MCM this weekend ( 23rd to 25th of May 2014) selling paper copies of both volumes and a book which has scans from my moleskin in 2013. Hopefully I’ll get time to make a post about it before Friday for you guys to see what it looks like.

Thank you all!

I was asked to get involved in the second part of the  already successful Kickstarter campaign for the card game "The Agents" which has some bad-ass illustrations by the talented Dan Morison (aka Dark Mechanic) and now has some other invited artist who have done some great posters of the characters in the game.

Make sure you check the game out which comes out next year to the public but its currently available on kickstarter:

The Cover of Golden Campaign Volume II

With this post I Make it public that I have officially finished Volume2. It’s ready and it should be going to print tomorrow so it’s ready for Thought Bubble this month.
I’m very excited about this chapter as I feel I have learnt a great deal of things since Volume 1 and This book embodies long weekends of work and sketching.

A short video of my initial sketch and cleaned rough for the Chun-li Poster

My buddy and fellow illustrator Olly Cuthberston aka “The dragon” couldnt believe that my avatar “artist” name was CROM and it had nothing to do with his beloved 80’s film Conan the barbarian, so he made me watch it and now I decided to do this poster as a sign of respect and sort of an apology for not saying the film was 10 out of 10.
Loads of fun to be had watching this film specially when he punches a camel and bites a vultures’s neck.

I’m an absolute admirer of Mike Mignola and Duncan Fegredo so I thought I’d try my hand at this. Also I promised this print as a birthday present for a friend of mine who is a big Hellboy fan.

I will be at London MCM this weekend May 25 and 26 selling copies of Golden Campaign and my new Golden Campaign tattoos.

I’ll be at table F4 in the Comic Village. Hope to see you there.

These are the tattoo designs taken from Golden Campaign that I will (hopefully) be selling this weekend at LONDON MCM 2013 as transfer tatts for a bit of fun. I’m hoping to have some on my self and look real tough just like the characters from Golden Campaign. which one is your favorite? KK tatts, Mech tatts or just showing some Love for Carrot Gin?

Last few weeks were great for Golden Campaign as it became available at Gosh comicsagain and made a debut in the shelves of Orbital Comics where it quickly became staff’s pick of the week along with Mignola’s Sledge Hammer 44 and got the attention of many new readers. Really happy right now.
